How often should you replace the air filter in your furnace???
i live in a small 700 sq foot apartment, so its probably a little longer than a month right?
There are a few answers for your question.
1) If you have alergies, asthma, or other similar problems, it is generally recommended to replace your filters every month. If your system is heating only, just do it during the heating season.
If you have air conditioning, you’ll have to get 12 filters.
2) If you don’t have breathing problems, and have a heat only system, recommend replace twice during the heating season.
With a/c and heat, recommend four times per year(every three months).
